The history of Madrone Hospice, Inc. has been nothing less than remarkable. The summer of 2005 marked our twentieth anniversary as a not-for-profit community-based corporation providing quality compassionate care at the end of life. Since 1995, we provided hospice care to over 1,500 patients and their families. The board, staff and volunteers are proud to be part of this tremendous community effort. As we focus on our mission of providing quality compassionate care to people who are coping with life’s most challenging transitions, we continue to explore ways to meet the needs of the people in our communities. We are extremely proud of the six-bed Hospice House, and our Adult Day Center in Yreka.
We couldn’t move forward with our mission without the generous spirit of the communities we serve. We are grateful to the organizations and individuals who support our efforts to provide end-of-life care to patients and families, regardless of their ability to pay. If not for them, Madrone Hospice would be but a dream. Because of them, Madrone Hospice is a reality.
