Gardena Convalescent Center is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility conveniently located in near the 405, 105 and 110 freeways. We are a 74 bed facility dedicated to the finest in patient care. Friendly and professional, Gardena Convalescent combines the intimate feeling of a smaller facility with the superior patient care that only dedicated nurses can provide.
Nursing Services Offered
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing; Registered Nurses, Licensed Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants work together to ensure residents' needs are met at the highest standards. Our staff provides the following programs:

Therapeutic Team
The therapists work together with the interdisciplinary team and family to achieve the highest functional level possible for the resident.

Food Services
Nutritious meals are prepared according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a licensed dietician. Personal requests and preferences will be discussed on admission, and based on assessment, residents may choose to have their meals at bedside, in the dining room, or with the help of a personnel assistant in the Assisted Eating Program.
We also serve a variety of Japanese dishes as part of our regular menu.
Social Services
The Social Service staff works together with the resident and family members to meet all of the residents' social needs. At the time of discharge, the social service director will arrange for the appropriate level of care, whether it be home health or a lower level of care.
