All of our medical caregivers pledge themselves to these core values.

Our in-home health services range from short-term to the most demanding cases of long-term care. Available 24 hours a day, a licensed medical professional is on-call in a crisis or there just for your reassurance. All of our professional caregivers are screened both nationally and locally. They are selected based on the highest standards of conduct. Each caregiver also receives on-going training and supervision to meet your most important medical care needs. All of AHHS’s caregivers are bonded and insured.

AHHS President/CEO of Aadvanced Home Health Services, Susan Reichel, is a RN and a graduate of Regents College (NY). Her mother, Lorraine Salerno, founded La Jolla Nurses in 1978, the first private duty hire home health agency in Southern California. Inspired by her mother’s example and her own desire to help people in need, Susan went to work at her mother’s agency. Eventually, she launched AAdvanced Home Health Services in 1996.

Susan Reichel is a tireless advocate for both patients and nurses. She listens intently to the needs of every new client and matches them with the perfect professional caregiver. “These caregivers work long hours, and care for their patients like they were their own family,” Susan says, “Its how we show our true calling.”

Today, with over 100 employees, AHHS serves a long list of clients who come to her for everything from short term help to the special responsibility of hospice care.
